Congratulations are in order as Ajith mentored UAV team won the second place at an international competition in Australia.

Bring out the celebratory drinks as renowned South Indian actor Ajith’s team Dhaksha has won the second place at the World UAV Medical Express Challenge 2018, which took place in Australia. The actor with numerous talents was appointed as the UAV System Adviser and Test Pilot by Madras Institute of Technology (MIT). The actor was guiding a team of participants to create advanced Unmanned Aerial Vehicles to run at the UAV Challenge Competition this year. The actor’s efforts paid off when his team, Dhaksha, came second in the competition.

While Ajith wasn’t at the venue to witness the team’s performance, the actor is definitely going to be proud of his boys. The UAV Challenge team shared a picture of the MIT team and fans have gone crazy since then. Fan clubs are rooting for their favourite star’s team and celebrating his team’s efforts. A Times of India report reveals that Dhaksha was one among the 13 teams to qualify from all over the world to participate in the final round. The remarkable achievement adds yet another feather to Ajith’s hat. Besides acting, the actor is known for his bike and car racing, he is a trained pilot, he is also a trained fighter jet pilot, and has a passion for drones. The actor has been spotted flying drones on the sets of Vivegam.
