The wait has been long, but we think it was definitely worth it. Diljit Dosanjh unveiled his wax statue today and it looks surreal. The Punjabi superstar’s wax statue was unveiled at Madame Tussauds Delhi. The actor-singer was present at the event and he unveiled the statue. While getting waxed by Madame Tussauds is an honour of its own, Diljit’s wax statue is all the more special because the actor became the first turbaned star to be featured in the museum. How cool is that! It is a moment of pride. The statue was to be revealed a few weeks ago. However, due to the tense situation between India and Pakistan, the actor decided to postpone the event.
For the unveiling, the Jind Mahi hit-maker wore a dapper black suit as against his casual look. We lost our hearts as he made his way into the venue with swag written all over his look. While he looked oh-so-formal for the occasion, his wax statue sported an opposite look. The actor's wax statue sports a black casual outfit with a heavy blingy chain hanging around his neck. The accessory caught Diljit’s attention as well. He couldn’t help but check out the chunky chain. The idol replicates his look from his song Putt Jatt Da. Sharing the photos on Instagram and Twitter, Diljit thanked the gods and his fans for making this happen. Fans have been going gaga ever since Diljit shared the photos. While several congratulated the star, there were a few who felt the statue looks more real than Diljit himself. “The statue looks more like Diljit Dosanjh than Diljit Dosanjh looks like Diljit Dosanjh,” a comment read.

On the work front, Diljit will soon be seen sharing the screen with Varun Sharma and Kriti Sanon in Arjun Patiala. The actor dons the police uniform again for this venture.
The movie is set to release in July.
