And he has a very good reason to do so. Here's what it is...
When we heard that Aaj ki party meri taraf se from Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan won't be included in the narrative, we were as disappointed as you were. After all, it's a special song shot by Salman for his fans to celebrate Eid. Now we know who is the man behind this decision. He is none other than Salman's father Salim Khan who got it chopped from the end credits as well!
According to a daily, when Salim Khan recently saw the film, the song was attached to the end credits. After the show, he told Kabir Khan, the director, that the greatness of the film is getting diluted by the song. He even said that the song is unnecessary. Kabir wholeheartedly agrees with Salim saab as he feels that attaching a song in the end credits is a disease. He doesn't need sweet.
So now, the song will only be shown on TV. But if you think about it, Salim saab isn't wrong at all. Bajrangi Bhaijaan has a very important underlying message and a song towards the end might dampen its impact on the audience. Don't you think so?
