Apart from SLB, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s names are also included in the FIR
A court told police to register a case against Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone and others for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of people in their upcoming movie Ramleela.
A complaint was filed by advocate Pawan Sharma in the court of the additional chief metropolitan magistrate.
"In the complaint, we have stated that going by the promo, the movie Ramleela, which is slated for release November 15, is promoting enmity between different groups on ground of religion," Sharma said.
He said that the court took cognizance of the compliant and asked the Shyam Nagar police in the city to register a first information report (FIR).
"The court has directed the police to investigate the complainant," said Sharma.
