Firangi making video: Kapil Sharma and his team take you on a tour of a village in pre-independent India

After two years of his debut, Bollywood film as a lead hero, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, ace comedian Kapil Sharma is coming back on the big screen with Firangi. The trailer and title track of the film has everyone excited already. The audience were also all praise for the art team for recreating the pre-independence era in Punjab but what went into recreating the Rasool Pura village in Punjab for this historical comedy film? In the making video, we can see everyone - right from the security guards and carpenters to other technicians contributing their best to transform the place into a civilised village with aesthetics while keeping its essence and natural feel intact. The team recreated the Rasool Pura railway station and we must say they did their best to make it look authentic. In between shots, we also see Kapil Sharma cracking a joke to lighten the mood of security guards and co-actors. The director, Rajiev Dhingra, is also seen showering praises on the team for their efforts in delivering the desired result.

For those who don't know, Firangi revolves around Manga (Kapil Sharma) a localite from Punjab. While every villager is against Britishers, Manga thinks that Britishers are good people and always wishes to join their army. The film is produced by Kapil Sharma and it also stars Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill in pivotal roles. Earlier the film was scheduled to release on November 24, but now it has been pushed ahead by a week and will hit screens on December 1.
