The first look of Amitabh Bachchan from Sujoy Ghosh's Badla is out. Shared by the filmmaker on his Twitter handle, the picture shows Big B walking on a bridge, holding a briefcase with his back to the camera. big B has donned a corporate look wearing a black suit. Apart from Amitabh, Badla features his Pink co-star, Taapsee Pannu in the lead role. Badla is an official remake of the 2016 Spanish thriller Contratiempo. Badla is co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment and Azure Entertainment. The film is scheduled for March 8 release. Earlier in an interview with IANS, Taapsee had revealed that the film is a thriller which is Sujoy Ghosh's favourite genre. "This is going to be a riveting thriller. It's Sujoy's favourite genre and I am yet another time out of my comfort zone which I actually enjoy the most," she had said.
Currently, Amitabh Bachchan is shooting for Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra which has an ensemble star cast that includes Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna and Dimple Kapadia. Produced under Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Brahmastra is reportedly set to release this Christmas.
