Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence - two of the hottest superstars in Hollywood right now are playing the leads in the space romance flick, Passengers.
This is the first time these two stars are paired together, and that's one of the film's biggest USP. Passengers is directed by Morten Tyldum, who previously made Benedict Cumberbatch's The Imitation Game, for which he was nominated as the Best Director for Academy Awards 2015.
Passengers is about two people who are on a intergalactic journey of 120 years in a spaceship where everyone is put on a cryo-sleep. However one of the passengers, played by Chris Pratt, wakes up much before the scheduled period, and to give him company in that loneliness, he selfishly wakes up a female co-passenger, played by Jennifer Lawrence.
The first pics of the actors from the film are out, and they completely rock in their space gear. The film is also said to feature Jennifer Lawrence's first onscreen lovemaking scene, for which she admitted she was very nervous because Chris Pratt was a married man.
It's also a relief to see Jennifer Lawrence out of those Young Adult action entertainers like Hunger Games franchise (that finally ended, thankfully) and the X-Men franchise (that was in too awe of her superstar glory, that they screwed up her character, Mystique). Chris Pratt meanwhile is moving from strength, having gained superstar glory from Guardians of The Galaxy and Jurassic World. He will also be seen in the remake of Magnificent Seven, co-starring Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke.
