Bollywood hit flick Queen is being remade in all four South Indian languages and will have different actresses playing the lead role. Kajal Aggarwal will be seen in the Tamil version while the Telugu one will have Tamannaah Bhatia. The Kannada remake features Parul Yadav while the Malayalam one stars Manjima Mohan in it. The makers have unveiled the first look posters of all four remakes today and we are quite convinced that the makers got it on point. All the four remakes of Queen are being produced by Mediente Films jointly with actress Parul Yadav.
The Tamil version of Queen remake is titled Paris Paris while the Kannada is named Butterfly. The Telugu version has been titled That is Mahalakshmi while the Malayalam is Zam Zam. The Tamil and Kannada remakes have been directed by actor-filmmaker Ramesh Arvind while the Telugu remake is directed by AWE director Prashanth Varma. The Malayalam remake, Zam Zam, has Neelakanta at the helm.
The Queen remakes have been in the pipeline for a long time now and were initially supposed to release early this year. The film got delayed due to various issues but now is gearing up for a release soon. The music for all the four remakes is composed by Amit Trivedi who has rendered for the original too.
