The TV star tied knot with his longtime girlfriend Neha Saxena on April 6th and it was an extremely private affair. Kudos to this couple for keeping such a big news under wraps for over a week. Revealing details about the same, Shakti in an interview to TOI said, "We had the haldi ceremony in the morning and pheras in the evening. It was a private affair with only our immediate families in attendance. Both of us have been relatively free over the past few months and so, decided to take the plunge. The marriage reports came as a shock since we heard them parting ways some months back. However, earlier during an interaction with a leading daily, when Shakti was asked about his relation with Neha, he stated, "All is well with us. I have become thick-skinned, and rumours about my split, marriage and kids don’t affect me anymore. It’s part and parcel of this profession." The couple was in a relationship for a long time until they got engaged after a courtship of two years. Previously when Shakti was asked about the delay in their marriage, he had said, "I feel that I am not yet ready for marriage. Neha and I want to focus on our careers. We had a roka four years ago, toh koi kahiin bhaaga nahi jaa raha hai. We will take the plunge when the time is right." And guess the right time was finally here for the couple. When asked about his life after marriage, Shakti said, "The feeling is yet to sink in and I don’t feel like a married man yet. Abhi tak kuch samajh nahi aa raha, but it’s a nice feeling." The couple is likely to head to Norway for their honeymoon.
