Bollywood’s leading lady Deepika Padukone has surely come a long way in her career. We all are aware that the actress had started as a model in her initial days. She had even modeled for Kingfisher swimsuit calendar. So it was least surprising to see this old picture of the Bajirao Mastani actress where she was seen walking the ramp as a background model with long lost actor Fardeen Khan.
The picture is from a 2005 Provogue Fashion show with Fardeen Khan who was then their brand ambassador and was the show stopper of the show. Miss Padukone was seen walking behind Fardeen with all her grace and confidence. It was this confident attitude which has bought her today where she is just killing it.
Of course no one would have ever imagined that the model at the back will be ruling Bollywood now, winning awards left, right and centre and is now all set to make it huge in Hollywood with her debut film xXx: The Return of Xander Cage with superstar Vin Diesel directed by D.J. Caruso. We are sure that Deepika' parents will be proud of how successful she has become.
