While everyone may rejoice the return of their hero, Jon Snow, you're not particularly going to like this episode! Oh and of course, spoiler alert...
Game of Thrones season 6 has become everyone's way to either ward off Monday blues or to bring in more of it (considering the consequences of the episode). So far there have been handful deaths and twists that go really well with our hopes on the writer George R R Martin and producers of the show. While episode 4 of this season was rather boring, one of the highlights of 5th episode was hurtful. Yes. We finally know the mystery behind Hodor's name and ability to say just that one word.
But I'm gonna warn you, you ain't gonna like the mystery as it is quite saddening to learn why he can only say that one word and did the producers have to kill him off too?! Oops! Well, yeah. That is the sad part about the fifth episode. We come to know why it is Hodor and not Willis and we also see our beloved giant perish in the hands of the white walkers. Apart from that, there are sequences of emotional goodbyes shared between Daenerys and Jorah Mormont. And of course the truth behind how the White Walkers were formed. Check out the highlights of the episode below!
# The sad demise of one of the cutest characters of GoT, Hodor aka Willis. Thanks to Bran's ability to time travel and warp into people's minds, in a crisis situation such as the attach of the white walkers, Bran gets into the head of child Hodor. This resulting in this pupils rolling out and him saying the words Hodor, which in present life is what Meera asks him to do "Hold the door".
# The origin of the white walkers is revealed and it is all fault of Children of the Forest! They, from what Bran saw, Leaf, created the white walkers with a view to save themselves from the catastrophes of what mankind has been doing to their forests but alas, looks like it bit them back on their tushy. Ah yes, the white walkers do attack them and kill Three Eyed Raven, Leaf and whoever they find in their way to kill Bran.
# Sansa Stark takes control and shoves off Littlefinger for the horrors he put her in. In fact, she also takes charge of being the face of her army as Jon and the others find more troops to join in in their war against Bolton. Yeah, she's become one helluva lady!
# Return of Euron Greyjoy results in failure for Yara and Theon with their plans of attaining the throne of the Iron Islands. Theon returns to support his sister and work next to her but their plans are washed off by their uncle Euron who is soon made the king, resulting in them to flee with a fleet of their ships. Ah, sadness.
# Apart from these, Arya's search to kill off one of the theatre artists so as to complete her sequence of training takes a rather drastic realization of how the commoners of Braavos consider Ned Stark a total whackjob while Joeffrey remains their hero. However, luckily Arya doesn't lose her cool! Surprising, no?
