The Gold Awards 2016 was a glitzy affair. We saw performances form top jodis like Siddhant Gupta – Jasmine Bhasin from Tashan E Ishq, Divyanka Tripathi – Karan Patel from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Adaa Khan – Arjun Bijlani from Naagin. The whole of the industry was there for this glamorous occasion. Amongst the guys, Vivek Dahiya looked truly spiffy. In a navy blue suit with a white shirt and pocket square, he exemplified dapper. Anuj Sachdeva opted for a Indian touch with a bandhgala and Jodhpuris. The linen ensemble seemed tailor-made for his lithe frame. Karan V Grover also looked smart in his funky kurta teamed with sneakers. Karanveer Bohra went for a white suit with a floral printed purple shirt. TV jodis who took our breath away were Namik Paul and Nikita Dutta. The six feet actor was accompanied by his co-star whose maroon gown showed off her toned body to the hilt. And we cannot get over the cuteness of Manish Goplani and Jigyasa Singh (just check out Manish’s smile). Karan Singh Grover was awarded the Rising Star Award. He was seen without his newly-wedded wife, Bipasha Basu. Swaragini’s Varun Kapoor looked rather manly in his white suit with a red tie. Slick hair and brown shoes were the add-ons. His wife, Dhanya was a total lady in red. Indraneil Sengupta and his wife Barkha Bisht were the most gorgeous couple on the red carpet. In the white sari with a bindi and little makeup, Barkha looked like a Goddess. Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy are always stylish and stuck to their game.
