We were shipping this couple as much as you, but grapevine has it that the josh is not so high when it comes to the relationship between (former?) lovebirds Vicky Kaushal and Harleen Sethi. Reports suggest that the two have parted ways. Speculations were fuelled after Harleen unfollowed Vicky on social media. Now we know this looks like reading too much into it, given the fact that it was very recently when we spotted the couple at parties, movie-screening, dinner dates together. This very picture of the two celebrating the success of Vicky's film Uri: The Surgical Strike makes it hard to believe. Reports suggest Vicky cheated on Harleen with Katrina Kaif.
Earlier in a recent conversation with Filmfare, Vicky had confirmed his relationship with Harleen as he said, "It was beautiful to get to know each other. It felt right from the very beginning. It started from past year only. We just happened to meet through common friends. We never questioned it. Whatever happened, happened in a very organic way. We enjoy each other's company and we are each other’s best critics."
Earlier during another chat show hosted by Neha Dhupia, when Vicky was asked to dedicate a song to Harleen, he sang, "Do you know Main tenu kinna pyar karda...Do you know? Main tere utte kinna marda. Do you know?"
On the work front, Vicky Kaushal hinted at being cast in Saare Jahaan Se Achcha which is a biopic on Rakesh Sharma. He is also set to star in Karan Johar’s Takht, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar.
Vicky is also kicked about working with Shoojit Sircar in the biopic on Sardar Udham Singh. "It's a surreal feeling because it's like a dream come true as I am finally getting to work with him. I have always been a big admirer of how Shoojit sir looks at his stories. The way he is looking at the character (Udham Singh) and the world is extraordinary as well as beautiful. Plus, it's also a big honour for me that finally, I am going to be directed by him. Honestly, that's something that will take time to sink in," Vicky had said.
