If you were shocked that Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli broke, you might have been even more shocked when we revealed to you that the cricketer mentioned to his friends about Anushka's "controlling" behaviour. We all heard that marriage was one of the major reasons for the couple's differences, but we hear that there more underlying causes of their split.
Despite their adorable chemistry, the duo reportedly wanted different things from the relationship. A source told a leading tabloid, "Virat proposed for marriage around New Year's Eve, but Anushka rejected it, categorically stating that it would be better for them to focus on their careers instead." While Anushka's controlling nature, as reported by a leading daily, might have been an issue, there was a major disagreement about some plans that they had made.
Post New Year, Anushka agreed to work on Salman Khan's Sultan without informing the cricketer. She is also concentrating on rolling out three new production projects under her banner this year and hence the actress has no time left in between. On the other hand, a leading tabloid reports that Virat Kohli opted out of the India-Sri Lanka Twenty-20 series to spend time with her and he was shocked to know that she had taken on all these projects without informing him about her change in plans. Virat was on leave till February 14 and wanted to ring in Valentine's Day with the actress during the break. But Anushka's work plans caught him off guard and they have not been in touch for the last three weeks.
