Shah Rukh Khan has been away from the big screen for a long time and fans are waiting desperately for the announcement of his next project. Talks of him doing a film with Rajkumar Hirani, Farah Khan and Sriram Raghavan did the rounds, but everything is just speculated news. It is confirmed that the actor is doing a cameo in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's Brahmastra. Some days back, he met director Aashiq Abu of Mayaanadhi fame. However, it looks like the movie with Tamil hotshot filmmaker Atlee is also on the cards. Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee met in Chennai during the Indian Premier League and pics of them watching a cricket match together went viral.
While talks of him giving a nod to Malayalam director Aashiq Abu's film is doing the rounds, it seems that Shah Rukh is keen to collaborate with Atlee, too. He has asked him to rework the script a bit. Talks of a film with Rajkumar Hirani are also on. A source told Deccan Chronicle, "Shah Rukh wants to be completely sure before he plunges into his next project, and the one thing that he wants to be fully certain of is the screenplay. Atlee and SRK are definitely working together, but the announcement on November 2 never happened because the script isn’t ready. At least, not the way Shah Rukh wants it to be."
If all these three films work out, it will be blockbuster news for all King Khan fans since Aanand L Rai's Zero was a much-hyped project, but did not turn out to be a critical or commercial success. Stay tuned to BL for more scoops and updates.
