Shah Rukh Khan's fans have been waiting patiently since January 2019 for the superstar to announce his next project. His labour of love, Zero, did not impress the junta or critics, and the actor has gone on a long sabbatical after that film. He has said that he would take his time to announce his next and that he was reading scripts. The superstar was supposed to do the Rakesh Sharma biopic, but that seems to be on the back-burner now. A short while ago, Shah Rukh Khan also spoke about wanting to do an action flick.
Now, as per a report in Mumbai Mirror, there is buzz in industry corridors that the actor will announce two new films on his birthday, November 2. One of them is supposed to be with Rajkumar Hirani who has a 100% track record of critical and commercial hits so far. There are also talks that he may do a film with Tamil cinema's celebrated filmmaker, S. Shankar, after the latter finishes the Indian sequel with Kamal Haasan. And that's not all. It seems he is in discussion with Gurinder Chadha of Bend it Like Beckham fame, too, for a film. If that happens, it will be King Khan's foray in the international circuit. This should gets fans extremely excited.
At a recent event, the actor said, "I am thinking and taking some time. I am working on two or three scripts and, Inshallah, as soon as they are ready, I am ready. Because most of the people with whom I am working are busy so, Inshallah, I will announce it myself. I feel till the time rumours are floating around, it's good, because some of them have given me ideas." Stay tuned to BL for more updates!
