The Dil Dhadakne Do actor teamed up with Vishal Dadlani and a Chennai based rock band to come up with this killer number

Farhan Akthar is a man with many hats, a jack of all trades. He started off his career as a filmmaker, and later tried his hand in acting. Slowly he ventured into production and singing, and became an all in one entertainer. While Farhan has kept himself away from singing for sometime now, he gave his fans a musical delight recently.

The Dil Dhadakne Do star teamed up with Vishal Dadlani and a Chennai based rock band called SKRAT to come up with a deadly number called Mutant Macha, which was aired before the television premiere of X-Men: Days of the Future Past on Star Movies. With some heavy electric guitar and bass overpowering the song, one could see Farhan crooning as the lead singer in cool shades, with Vishal Dadlani and SKRAT to back up.

The music of Mutant Macha is very different to Bollywood tunes. It has a very indie feel to it, just like Sushant Singh Rajput's Detective Byomkesh Bakshy soundtrack. Hrithik Roshan seemed to be incredibly impressed by Farhan's new venture as he tweeted," He's a mutant!
