Avengers: Infinity War is just a week away from its release (Singapore and India) and the excitement to see the most ambitious crossover event in the history of cinema is at its peak. With so many superheroes coming together under one roof, you can expect fans to go all crazy, pray and cheer for their favourite superhero. While many theories have evolved regarding the death of various superheroes in the movie, fans are still busy speculating and wondering if their favourite superhero will survive the mighty Thanos. Yes, we are expecting Iron Man and Captain America to bid adieu to MCU, but Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays the character of Doctor Strange, is also expected to say his final word. Getting so many world renowned actors to act together and adjusting their individual schedules can be a real pain for the makers and Marvel was no different. Especially when the movie's main antagonist - Thanos, played by Josh Brolin, was also cast as a villain in Deadpool 2. Speaking with RadioTimes.com, Benedict revealed that one of the movie's (Infinity War) main star, Josh Brolin wasn't present for a lot of filming of the shoot and he was usually replaced by a stand. At least in the scenes that have Doctor Strange and Thanos together. "They used a stand-in for Josh. Josh wasn't in there for much, he did his bit and then a lot of stuff with a lot of us and him was missing because, I guess, he was doing Deadpool 2 and I was doing Melrose and The Current War," Benedict Cumberbatch revealed. "But we made it work. It's often the case you can act with other actors anyways, in certain scenarios because of the amount of additional stuff you have to fit in with the environment or the magic or whatever it is that's coming out of your hands or your ass," he added. When Benedict Cumberbatch was asked if a Doctor Strange sequel is in the making, his statement sort of cleared some air regarding his death in Avengers: Infinity War. “I know the latest is that I might not make it out of this film alive,” Cumberbatch told RadioTimes.com in a new video interview. “It’s only [written at] the end of the first film, ‘Doctor Strange will be back.’ I have been back, in Thor: Ragnarok, and obviously in [Avengers: Infinity War]. So there’s nothing to say, either contractually or otherwise, that he’s coming back again. I haven’t seen the film. so God knows, that might be it,” he added.
