Producer Rhea Kapoor talks about how they are planning to shoot the film
Veere Di Wedding was in news for the past few days thanks to the rumours that Kareena Kapoor Khan may exit from the film, thanks to her pregnancy. She is due to deliver in December.
However the rumours turned out to be false, as Kareena is still a part of the film. However, there is a little change. She will shoot for the film after her delivery.
Speaking to Mirror, Sonam Kapoor's younger sister and one of the film's producers Rhea Kapoor said, "We will shoot certain sections with the other three girls in October but the maximum chunk will be shot in March and April after Kareena returns. The prep required more time than the actual filming."
She also revealed her plays on keeping the film as close to real life. "My team has been going all out to make it my best film till date. It's a Delhi-based film and to keep the locations as true to life as possible, we actually knocked on people's' doors, asking, `Hi, can we shoot here?'. You will see a relatable side of Delhi. Thailand is another possibility but we are still exploring locations."
She is pretty much excited about the film since it is a genre she enjoys working on and Veere Di Wedding is a movie for young girls to watch and relate to in Hindi films.
She also gave us a little insight about Kareena and Sonam's characters. She continued, "Sonam's character is a lot about how your life is governed by what you feel you should do and what you actually want to do. Sonam plays a middle class Delhi girl and she tries to balance everything that comes with that."
