Taapsee Pannu is leaving no stone unturned in promoting her upcoming film Game Over by Ashwin Saravanan. During the last few days, the actress has been treating her fans with BTS videos from the sets of Game Over. Needless to say, people are eager to watch the film, given that it features a talented actress like Taapsee.
Amidst all of this, today a social media post by the Badla star left her fans worried. Taapsee shared an image of her injured arm and plastered legs from the sets of Ashwin's directorial. "Yes yes, chiffon sarees in snow capped mountains for 25 days would’ve been tougher... so I choose all this ??♀️ #GameOver #ActorsLife," she captioned her Instagram post.
Within minutes, fans started wishing her a speedy recovery in the comments section and expressed their concern for Taapsee. Little did they know, it was actually the prosthetic make-up and not really injuries. Talking to BollywoodLife, Taapsee Pannu herself mentioned that it was a special make-up done for Game Over, which she even replied to a concerned fan.
Say for that matter, in her Instagram post, Taapsee tagged Pallavi Shroff, the girl who is a make-up artist and is known to do prosthetics. That clears the confusion itself.
Earlier, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Taapsee had revealed how she prepared for her character saying, "I have not even got a fracture in my life. Not even a hairline fracture. So I really don’t know how it feels when you get any kind of fracture. It was quite an awkward experience of being in a wheelchair for 12 hours for 25 days. I shot for 35 days and in that, for 25 days I was in a wheelchair."
The actress had further added, "In fact, I used to be in my leg cast between shots because it would take too much time to be in and out of it. So, every time I needed to go to the washroom or lie on my bed to relax, I used to be in the cast. I got really dependent for those 12 hours but also got used to it. It’s not a good feeling at all, especially when you are portraying not only physically but also a mentally draining character."
Game Over, directed by Ashwin Saravanan, revolves around a medical condition called Anniversary Effect. It is all set to release on June 14.
