Taking a break from his boy-next-door type of roles, Sidharth Malhotra is all set to impress us in a different avatar. The actor will be seen essaying the Kargil hero, Vikram Batra, in his biopic. And for the same project, the Student Of The Year actor is going to learn the art of weaponry. Since he is an athletic person and loves trying different things, Sidharth is super excited to learn the same. In an interview with Mid-Day, the 34-year-old opened up about his film and stated that Vikram Batra biopic is expected to go on floors from April as the film is slated to release in 2020.
Coming back to his love for weapons, the actor said, "It (Vikram Batra biopic) will involve a lot of weaponry. I'm obsessed with weapons. My father had got me a pellet gun, the kind that was used in Home Alone , and I was obsessed with that. So, I'm excited to try different weapons for it." Malhotra who will also be seen in Marjavaan said that prepping for the mass entertainer was easier as compared to the biopic since it mostly involved wire work.
Besides these two films, Sidharth will be starring in Jabariya Jodi opposite Parineeti Chopra. The film is scheduled to release on May 17, 2019.
