The actor sets an example for all co-stars
By now, everyone has accepted the fact that Mahesh Babu's Brahmotsavam is a disaster. All the fans of the actor are equally unhappy with the way the movie has been ruined by bad screenplay and direction. Of course, no one is more aware of the failure of the family drama than Mahesh Babu himself. The actor is known to be a really thinking professional who learns from his mistakes and looks like he is doing something similar with Brahmotsavam.
There are rumours doing the rounds that Mahesh completely accepts his fault for the movie's debacle and that he is even going to pay his remuneration back to the producer Prasad V Potluri. This is a progression from the previous rumours that Mahesh and PVP have agreed to compensate for the distributor's losses. What's more, there are even talks that the superstar will be sitting with director Srikanth Addala and dissecting the film to see what went wrong.
All these rumours sound quite surprising because Mahesh was perhaps the only saving grace in the movie and was spot on as an actor. So his sense of guilt, although commendable, is somewhat misplaced if you ask us. Even during the time when 1 Nenokkadine tanked at the box office, he was really distraught, but then the Sukumaran film went on to become a cult classic.
But all that aside, it goes to show what an amazing man Mahesh truly is and how invested he is in his films.
