Sonakshi Sinha had just one release this year as of now - Akira. It was an A. R. Murugadoss movie which worked well in its capacity. For a film which was only made with nearly 13 crore, the film earned 28. 73 cr. This proves that the film did the business it was expected to. Her kicks and punches won her some more fans and she was damn convincing in the film. In fact, personally speaking, it was such a good feeling to see a woman beating men to pulp. It has always been the other way round in movies, so this departure from the obvious was a refreshing change. But despite Akira's good performance, Force 2's success will mean a lot to Sonakshi. Let us give you a few reasons.

There was a time when Sonakshi was called the 100 crore heroine because post her debut film Dabangg, any film that had her in the lead crossed 100 crore. Be it Dabangg or Rowdy Rathore, Dabangg 2, they have managed to make a lot of money. But later the number of commercial hits for hers dwindled, last one being Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty. So if Force 2 succeeds, she will have a big commercial hit after a long time which is necessary for every actress.

Also, with the way Sonakshi has slipped into this action avatar, this could become her thing. She was invincible in Akira and Force 2 will give her more chances for the same. Whatever we saw in the trailer, made us really hopeful that it will give her ample time to be the action actress Bollywood needs badly. We have a lot of action heroes, it's time to get an action heroine too. (Also read: CBFC's next target Force 2: Pakistan related content asked to be cut from John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha's film)

After Force 2, Sonakshi will be seen in Noor and probably Dabangg 3. The former is an interesting film about a hassled youth. As for Dabangg 3, she was part of both the prequels and for the next one, she is ready to be in it even if that means being a photo on the wall. She had said once, “If there is Rajjo in the story, it will be played by me, irrespective of the length of the role. No one else will play Rajjo, even if it means me being a photo on the wall. Dabangg made me who I am today. I’m always there for that franchise."
