One of the best films of Aamir Khan's career will undoubtedly be Taare Zameen Par. The heartfelt story of a dyslexic boy struggling to cope up with his problems in a hugely competitive world touch the hearts of every child and parent out here. Taare Zameen Par has great repeat value and is one of the films that every film enthusiast should watch. The film released in 2007 and established Amole Gupte as a fine writer and filmmaker in the industry. It was also the first film to be directed by Aamir Khan, who said that the transition from an actor to a director was a tough one.

We all know about the fall out between Aamir Khan and Amole Gupte after the film. Apparently, when the superstar saw the footage of the initial few days, he was sorely disappointed. That is when he decided to take over the project as he felt that Gupte was unable to transition his brilliantly written material effectively on celluloid. The actor announced that he was the director of the film at the wrap-up party and Gupte said he was hurt by the betrayal. According to him, he was there for the entire duration of 109 days enacting every scene for the cast, which was mainly formed by children. It seemed that serious differences cropped up Gupte and him after the first schedule at Panchgani's New Era school. Aamir and Amole knew each from the time when Aamir was in college. Amole was an assistant director on Ketan Mehta's Holi at that time.

Amole is now back with Sniff, a story about a spy-superhero. It has Khushmeet Gill in the lead role. The actor spoke about children's film and as a case in point mentioned Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which according to him was a children's film in some essence. He also spoke about top stars supporting films that have children as main protagonists and deal with issues that actually affect kids the world over. When we asked if he would ever collaborate with Aamir Khan again, he replied in the negative. Check out the video and you will realise that Gupte is indeed one disappointed man.
