Someone please tell Parineeti that being thin DOES NOT mean being fit!
Parineeti Chopra is being trolled for a video she put up on social media. For someone who's always stood for embracing her body shape and empowering other girls to follow suit, this comes as a shocker. We absolutely adored her for that! However, in one of her recent interviews, Parineeti stated that she always had inhibitions about being on the heavier side and it is commendable that she has become a 'fat-to-fit' story, as termed in her own words.
But it wasn't easy for Pari as well. She was under a constant scanner right from her debut in Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl till Dawat-E-Ishq leading up to Kill Dill her last release. Her weight had become a subject of debate and conversation and every time she stepped out for promotions there would be one 'weight' question thrown at her. However all that changed in 2015 when Parineeti did a shocking yet inspirational weight loss story by doing a photo shoot for a life style magazine. Which is why her current comments about her friends weight issue have left us a bit baffled.

So it was one of Pari's friend's birthday and she and Alia decided to wish him. Since they couldn't meet him as they are on the Dream Team tour in the US, they shot a video which has Pari saying 'Eat less, become thin.' Now that was totally unexpected. Especially from someone who was on the 'healthier' side. She began her Bollywood journey when she was chubby and a lot of people actually looked up to her because from what it looked like, she loved her body and never gave a damn about being skinny.
While we are all struggling with our own insecurities and a lot of us have inhibitions about our weight or the way we look, it is absolutely insensitive of her to send across a message like this. Being a public figure, and considering that she has a huge fan following, with so many people idolizing her, she needs to be more careful with the words she chooses to use on her social media platform.
We love you Pari, but we think for someone who's dealt with body shaming herself this comment is totally out of line!
