South actor Nani's Telugu action thriller HIT: The Third Case made it to the theatres on May 1. There was a lot of buzz around the movie as Nani has proved himself to be one of the best when it comes to action thrillers. He now enjoys a massive fandom. His fans eagerly waited for HIT 3 to release and its impact can be directly seen on box office numbers. The film has taken a solid start at the box office.

As per reports, Nani has delivered his career-best opener with HIT: The Third Case. The movie has reportedly earned Rs 43 crore on its first day with worldwide collection. The movie has taken a flying start at the box office with all the positive reviews pouring in. Given the numbers, Nani has managed to beat his own record with HIT 3. His highest opening day grosser was Dasara that released in 2023. According to IMDb, the movie made around Rs 38.2 crore with worldwide collection. The second on the list is Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. It made around Rs 20.4 crore on its first day. Third on the list was movie Eega that made around Rs 6.5 crore. HIT 3 managed to beat all three and turn out to be highest opening day grosser for Nani. The movie is just a few crores away from crossing the Rs 50 crore mark.

Nani is obviously elated with all the love coming his way. Yesterday, the actor took to his social media account to pen a note that read, "This MAY it’s MAYHEM at BOXOFFICE. I love you all. Today it’s Arjun sarkaar’s turn. This truly is memorable. Onward and upward" and made it to entertainment news.

HIT 3 clashed with Suriya's Tamil film Retro. As per reports, both the films have done well at the Indian box office. Retro reportedly made Rs 19.25 crore India Net Collection. On the other hand, HIT 3's India Net business is said to be around Rs 19 crore as reported by Sacnilk.com. This competition is only going to get intense in coming days.
