Rumour mills have been abuzz with Hrithik Roshan doing a film with Karan Johar that might have Deepika Padukone as the leading lady. The romantic saga would be produced by KJo and directed by Karan Malhotra. This would be Hrithik's third film with Karan Johar after Ageenpath and Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham. Fans were extremely excited about the film as it would the first to bring together the pair of Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan. Yes, the good-looking pair have never worked together and a romance was perfect for them. However, as per a report in an entertainment portal, Hrithik has not confirmed signing the Karan Johar film though he's loved the script. It looks like discussions are still on...

The actor right now is busy with Kaabil that hits the theatres on January 25. He plays a blind man seeking to avenge the death of his wife in this thriller directed by Sanjay Gupta. However, Hrithik's collaboration with Karan has been making as much news as this upcoming film. In December, rumours surfaced that Saif Ali Khan's daughter, Sara Ali Khan would be making her debut with Hrithik Roshan. The film was supposed to be a romantic comedy again directed by Karan Malhotra. It really seems like the director is keen to work with the Agneepath actor at the soonest given their past success. He has two scripts ready for Hrithik Roshan if media reports are to be believed.
Karan Johar, apparently had offered one of the films to Shah Rukh Khan but King Khan suggested some changes, which he did not like. Though Karan apparently tried to convince him, Shah Rukh was adamant on it. This is why he reportedly went to Hrithik who it seems agreed in one go. With this tweet, Hrithik has confirmed that he has not signed on the dotted line as yet. But he has loved the script. We have to keep our fingers crossed till an official announcement is made. Hrithik is reportedly treading cautiously as he wants to choose the right scripts from now on. The star has the looks, acting chops, dancing skills and charisma to give tough competition to the Khans. We are sure that he will think twice before plunging into a film.
