Actor Hrithik Roshan has been issues summons by Maharashtra's Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) to record his statement in the e-mail case involving Kangana Ranaut. As we know, it was one of the biggest controversies of 2016. News agency ANI put up a tweet that confirmed the news. The tweet read: Maharashtra | Actor Hrithik Roshan has been summoned to appear before Crime Intelligence Unit of Mumbai Police Crime Branch on Feb 27 to record his statement in a case lodged against actress Kangana Ranaut involving exchange of emails between the two: Crime Branch.
It seems Hrithik Roshan has been called to the Crime Branch on February 27, 2021 to record his statement. The case is against Kangana Ranaut who in a long interview spoke about an alleged long relationship with her Krissh co-star. Hrithik Roshan had filed a case against Kangana Ranaut under IPC section 419 (cheating by personation), section 66C (identity theft), and 66D (cheating by personation using computer resources) of the Information Technology Act. Hrithik Roshan has maintained that she did not have any long conversations, and it was an impersonator with whom she had 'an affair'.
After Kangana Ranaut went public with the details, Hrithik Roshan sent her a legal notice demanding a public apology. She slapped a counter-notice on him. Rakesh Roshan said in a 2017 interview, "It’s now up to the authorities to decide who’s telling the truth. We’ve always believed in the power of the truth. I was taught to be honest by my father (legendary music composer Roshan) and I’ve taught Hrithik the same. In this matter, the truth will be out soon."
Fans still remember Hrithik Roshan's long interview with Republic TV. On the other hand, Kangana Ranaut's conversation with Rajat Sharma on Aap Ki Adalat got a mammoth viewership.
