Now, Malla (as she is fondly called by friends) is gearing up to share her secret with a fitness app. While one would assume that the fashionista is likely to talk about fashion and shopping, but on the contrary, she will be talking about working out and eating right. Malaika will also personally reply to all the queries posed by the app users.
A source reveals, “Her fitness regime is her way of life, and not just a fad or trend. A quick look at her Instagram page will tell you how committed she is to her workouts and nutrition. She believes that while it is necessary to keep a track of what you eat, you should never deprive yourselves of any foods. Malaika never diets, but eats everything in moderation. She loves pushing herself and does everything from pilates, dance, weight training, to yoga. She has even attended a boot camp. So, who better than her to talk fitness? She is the best brand ambassador for the app that will have her daily workouts and yoga poses. Anyone can subscribe to it.”
The source adds, “While actresses like Shilpa Shetty and Bipasha Basu have written books on fitness or released DVDs, that doesn’t excite Malaika. She is committed to launching this app, which should be out by the end of this year.”
