Tanushree Dutta, in a recent interview, shook the entire nation when she leveled sexual harassment allegations against veteran star, Nana Patekar, on the sets of the 2009 film Horn Ok Pleassss. She went on record to say that she was not only mistreated and touched inappropriately but was also coerced to do an intimate scene as part of a song in the movie. She obviously walked away with her dignity albeit amidst threats by goons, who went as far as attacking her car. While that was then, nothing much has changed today. Except for the fact that Bollywood has finally gotten around and has started taking notice of allegations made by women.
Of course, Nana has rubbished her claims and has also sent her a legal notice demanding an apology. Otherwise, he has been tight-lipped and was seen evading the media when he was last spotted by the paparazzi. But on further digging we have unearthed a video from 2008 where he came out to defend himself. Referring Tanushree as 'Bacchi' Nana vehemnetly denied her claims and had said that he was present at the shoot because he needed rehearsals for his steps in the song. He had also stated that he is clarifying on the insistence of the director and producer. Watch the video below.
Not just that, he had also went on to add that, "Unhe mujhe chunna that gaane main. Main toh door bhaag ta hun." Nana also vouched about his experience in the industry that she should think before she says anything. "Meri bacchi se bhi choti hai," he had added. What do you think of the entire incident?
