You can also get to hear Arjun Kapoor in the Hindi version for the same.
Whether you want to watch it or not, the fifth installment of the Ice Age franchise is hitting you very soon...even sooner than it hits US of A!
Ice Age: Collision Course will be releasing in India on 15 July 15, a week before its US release date on 22 July. So better watch the film, if you are a fan of the franchise, during that week so that you can spoil the film for your American counterparts...just kidding!
Another interesting fact about the film's release date is that, as per BookMyShow, it will be clashing with another Hollywood blockbuster, the much derided Ghostbusters reboot. However, Ice Age: Collision Course certainly has an advantage over the latter, due to the fact that kids know about the adventures of Manny the mammoth, Sid the sloth and Diego the sabretooth and of course, Scrat, the squirrel with a nut fetish! Whereas, Ghostbusters isn't as famous a pop culture reference in India, as it is in US - a reboot of an '80s film (which I admit is very likeable!). Also the reboot has been getting a lot of negative vibes and hate due to the makers' decision of turning the Ghostbusters into an all-woman brigand (expect more such spew when the all female Ocean's 11 comes out!).
Coming back to Ice Age: Collision Course, Arjun Kapoor will be lending his voice to the Hindi version of the film. Interestingly, he will be voicing not any of the main character, but Buck, a one-eyed weasel who was seen in the third Ice Age film, Dawn of the Dinosaurs. The popular character is making a return to the latest film, which will also have other supporting character from previous films, like Manny's family, Diego's sweetheart and Sid's granny.
