IIFA Utsavam 2024 recently took place at Yas Islands, Abu Dhabi. Many of the big celebs from the South Film industry and Bollywood were present at the grand event. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan drew the maximum attention as the diva walked the red carpet along with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. The mother-daughter duo glammed up for the event in black and white ensembles. Aishwarya rocked a black outfit with embellishments while Aaradhya went all glam in a studded white jacket teamed with black pants.
A lot of videos and pictures from the event have gone viral in entertainment news segments. One of the videos is of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shutting down a reporter who asked her about daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. As they walked the red carpet (actually green), Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had a chat with the paparazzi present at the event. One of the reporters quizzed her about Aaradhya Bachchan always being with her. The reporter asked, "Aaradhya is always with you. She’s already learning from the best." To this, Aishwarya cut the reporter stating that "WOAH, she is my daughter. She is always with me." Aishwarya did not engage in conversation further and headed to the even along with daughter Aaradhya. Not so long ago, Aaradhya Bachchan had accompanied mom Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to Paris as the diva walked the ramp at the Paris Fashion Week 2024.

At IIFA Utsavam 2024, Aishwarya's movie Ponniyin Selvan II won big. The films helmed by Mani Ratnam bagged almost 13 nominations. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan won the Best Actress Award, Mani Ratnam won the Best Director Award and AR Rahman won the Best Music Director Award. Golden Legacy Award was given to Nandamuri Balakrishna. In one of the videos, we see Aishwarya Rai Bachchan touching Mani Ratnam's feet as she received the award. Aishwarya Rai and Mani Ratnam share a special connect as the actress made her debut with his film.
Of late, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is also in the news as there are rumours of riff with husband Abhishek Bachchan and family.
