Is Karan Johar trying to play the peacemaker between Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan?

Now that Karan Johar has finally got his babies Yash and Roohi Johar home, B- Townies just cannot wait to see the munchkins. And that's why, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan were among the first ones to be spotted outside KJo's residence last night. Nope, they didn't enter together but headed to his house in their own separate cars. That's not quite strange considering the fact that all is seemingly not well between Karan Johar's favourite "students". It's becoming very obvious that Sid and Varun are not on friendly terms any more because we keep seeing them avoid each other at parties and other social gatherings. But now that they met Karan last night, we are guessing the filmmaker must have tried to sort things out between them..? No? After all, it was because of him that Sid and Varun became such good buddies. So we are hoping that Karan is trying to pacify things between them. But do you think they both would let go of their differences and become friends again? We don't exactly know what went wrong between the two but it's evident that neither of them are ready to budge. If they are both present at a event, they ensure that they don't bump into each other or one of them just decides to skip the event. Take for instance, the screening of Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Sid was nowhere to be seen and neither did he post any wishes for Alia or Varun on Twitter. Post that, Varun skipped Alia Bhatt’s birthday bash recently which was attended by Sid and a couple of other stars too. Now this cannot be sheer coincidence. These instances clearly hint that they don’t share a friendly equation anymore and that’s indeed upsetting for their fans. Now that their mentor Karan has decided to take the matter into his own hands, we are hoping that things will soon go back to normal between them. Ever since Karan took Yash and Roohi home from the hospital yesterday, celebs have been rushing to his place to meet the twins and to congratulate the filmmaker. Just a couple of days ago Karan shared an extremely emotional letter in which he described how heart- broken he felt when he got to know that the babies were premature. He consulted the right doctors and made sure that his children got the best treatment. And now that Yash and Roohi are all hail and hearty, the filmmaker has finally taken them home.
