Sequel of Karan Johar's Student Of The Year went on floors last week in Dehradun with Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria. When the cast of the film was officially announced by KJo, many were hoping that Priyank Sharma's name will be there in the list too, considering there were rumours about him starring in the movie since a very long time. But his fans were disappointed at the end of the day as there was no announcement regarding Priyank being on-board for SOTY 2. So much so, that they all started tweeting to Karan and requested to get him to star in the movie, which is being directed by Punit Malhotra. Since the speculations have not been put to rest, Priyank's fans are still hopeful that he is a part of the project.
We met Priyank, along with Badshah and Aastha Gill, as the three of them have collaborated for a song titled Buzz, which was released last week and has managed to become a chartbuster. It was during this that we did a Facebook Live session with them, and almost all of Priyank's fans wanted to know if he is in Student Of The Year 2. We asked the ultimate question, and before Priyank could answer, Badshah yelled, "YES." No, we are not kidding. As you saw in the video, after giving a confirmation, Badshah burst into laughter. Of course, Priyank also revealed that nothing is "confirmed" and that he "feels good" that his fans want him to be in Student Of The Year 2. But will he or will he not? It all depends on the makers of the film, especially Karan. Even if he is in the film, we will come to know very soon.
