Ishqbaaz starts with Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) coming close to Anika (Surbhi Chandna). She says my dil ki ghanti is ringing. He asks are you okay? Sahil comes in and says she has Pyaar Ka Bukhar. Then, Sahil says didi take me to watch film Pyaar Ka Bukhar. Shivaay says which film is this? Sahil says the film's hero is a real tadibaaz. At night, Anika dreams that SSO is coming close to her. She visualises him opening the curtains. O Jaana plays. Anika says Shivaay, what are you doing here at night? He says if you remember me so much then I have to come here. He says why are you avoiding me then? He says whenever I get close to you, the ghanti in your heart starts ringing. They share a eye-lock and she says how do you know? He says you see me in your dreams and why? Anika wakes up from her dream and says this is disastrous.
She says I need to forget Shivaay. Tia opens the door and says I will throw you out of the house. She says even SSO can't save you this time. In the morning, Anika decides to hide to avoid Shivaay. He leaves the room and Anika gets up from behind the sofa. Sahil and Rudra (Leenesh Mattoo) talk about love. He tells Sahil that we three brothers share different views about it. Rudra says I feel people can fall in love many times. Sahil says at times someone feels very special and remembers Soumya (Nehalaxmi Iyer). When Shivaay comes into the kitchen, Anika again hides. He pours coffee and thinks why did I think I spotted her here. Anika panics and hopes he leaves home fast. He comes again and she hides in the cupboard.
Shivaay gets a call from Mishra and looks for a file in the cupboards. Anika gives him the file. He wonders how did the file come into his hand. SSO wonders where exactly is Anika? He calls her and the phone rings in the cupboard. He finds her there. He asks what are you doing here? She says I am taking out the clothes. He feels why is she playing hide and seek. Anika is hiding under bed and SSO says I will find you for sure. He tells Mishra that he is leaving home for office. He goes from there and sits on the sofa. Anika comes out of hiding and he asks her why is she hiding.
She says there is no problem. Anika says it was cooler under the sofa so I slept here. SSO says even my cupboard is air conditioned. He says Anika look at me. O Jaana plays and Shivaay comes walking towards Anika. She is transfixed. He touches her shoulder and Anika looks on. They share an eyelock and she rests his head close to his chest and weeps. He says Anika....what happened? She says something weird is happening to me. I am very scared says Anika. He says do not be afraid. I will set everything right. Trust me, he says I will manage everything.
