With three video songs released ahead of the film's much anticipated release, we ask you to pick your favourite
The D-day for director Shankar's I is nearing, as the fate of the film would be decided on Thursday, January 15, when the Vikram-Amy Jackson starrer sees the light. While trade experts are putting their money on I to make big bucks at the box office, it remains to be seen if I manages to lure the Hindi audience. While the makers of I have left no stone unturned to promote the flick, the teaser of three songs - Issak Taari, Tu Chale, Tum Todo Na from the film has managed to grab some eyeballs all over the world.
Issak Taari( Mersalaayitten)
The awe inducing song tells a tale of local model played by Vikram and his vivid imagination after he hopelessly falls in love with an established model played by Amy Jackson. The song, backed by stunning visuals from extraordinary imagination of the director is a treat to watch. Be prepared for some jaw dropping fun as gym weights, motorbikes, mobiles turn into Amy Jackson in Vikram’s world of imagination. Amy looks smoking hot and Vikram with his expression and dance moves add a lot of flavour to the song.
Tu Chale( Pookkalae Sattru Oyivedungal)
Tu Chale is a sweet love track, sung with utmost beauty by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghosal. Vikram, in his clean shaven avatar, shares good chemistry with hottie Amy Jackson, who looks a million bucks in the song. A special mention for the exotic locales scouted by director Shanakar and his team. PC Srreeram’s cinematography is wonderful as he transports us to those beautiful locations with his intricate camera work. AR Rahman once again proves, that he is the king of melodies.
Tum Todo Na( Ennodu Nee Irunthaal)
The song revisits the old fairy tale of The Beauty and The Beast. Vikram, laden with some exceptional make up, plays the beast with such authority that he will leave you in awe. Amy Jackson, looks pretty, playing the damsel in distress. Tum Todo Na boasts some amazing camera work and mind blowing sets which take you to medieval times. The song opens with a beautiful piano piece accompanied by faint sound of flute, paving way to melodious vocals of Ash King.
