After the massive success of Oopiri, actor Karthi has been really busy signing scripts left, right and center. As soon as he was done with the Nagarjuna starrer, he signed up for Kaashmora, a horror film and an untitled Mani Ratnam project. The film is touted to be a horror flick and it's shooting has finally wrapped up.
The Oopiri actor took to Twitter to inform all his fans that the shooting of the supernatural horror film has wrapped up on time. Kaashmora was officially wrapped up on June 12, a deadline that was looking nearly impossible at the time. But somehow the team wrapped it up and Karthi shared this incredible feat and thanked producer Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures and director Gokul for making it all possible.
Karthi also thanked the director of cinematography Om Prakash in a separate tweet. We are all excited about Kaashmora because this will the first full fledged supernatural horror film starring Karthi. Back in 2010, he did Aayirathil Oruvan, which was a supernatural thriller in which he shined with his amazing performance. We look forward to something similar from him in Kashmora.
This supernatural horror film also stars Nayanthara as the female lead. Other than the two leads, the film also has Sri Divya, Manisha Yadav, Vivek, Siddharth Vipin and Jangiri Madhumitha in crucial roles. Santosh Narayanan who has a never ending demand this year and who composed music for Rajinikanth's Kabali, has scored the music for the film.
After this film, we will now see Karthi finally starting the Mani Ratnam project.
