Jacqueline Fernandez is currently having a gala time with movies at her bay but while she is enjoying the film star’s position, Jacqueline is not quite sure of making her debut in TV as a host. A leading daily reported that the actress was offered to host a dance based television show but she declined the offer! The show makers were so keen to have her onboard that they even offered her a heavy pay cheque but the actress still stood firm to her declining ground. Well, it was not the money that made her refuse the offer but her conscience that suggested that she wasn’t ready for the medium.
While many celebrities recently are found either hosting shows of judging them, Jacqueline sure stands aside! A source close to her was quoted saying, “A leading lifestyle channel will launch a new dance based reality show. It will feature contestants from all over the world. The makers felt that Jacqueline will be apt to host the show. In the last week of September, they approached her for the same, and even offered her a huge amount. However, she wasn’t convinced.
The source also revealed, “She is not averse to the idea, and neither does she want to undermine the power of Indian television. But, at present, she wants to focus solely on films. She feels that it’s too early in her career to do both films and TV. When she feels settled enough, she will consider doing TV too.” It’s a good call that Jacky chose to explore more in the film industry before stepping into the television world. But we do wonder how her hosting skills might turn out to be if she accepted the offer. What do you think?
