Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi is set to hit the screens this Friday. And since we saw what a crazy ride the first part was, we are pretty much excited for the sequel. This one's going to be a comedy of errors as 'Happy' Sonakshi Sinha gets mistaken for 'Happy' Diana Penty. The film also stars singer Jassi Gill who makes his Bollywood debut with this Mudassar Aziz directorial. In his first film, Jassi slipped into the role of a China-based Punjabi boy, and he underwent a 15-day training to learn Mandarin! Well, we wanted to put him to a test to see how good he would be in the film, and boy, did he manage to impress us.
In an exclusive interaction with us, Jassi gave us details about his character and even went on to speak in Chinese impromptu. His director could not stop praising him and later Jassi had to translate it for us to know what he just said about his role. Watch the video to know more.
Talking about the sequel, Diana had earlier told PTI, “If you like the first one, you will also like the second one. It’s the same space. It is funny, crazy and sweet. It’s a joyride. It is funnier than the first one. It feels good that a film is good enough for the makers to consider a part two. I feel proud when I think of that.” ALSO READ: Diana Penty shares 5 essentials for a runaway bride - watch exclusive video
Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi is directed by Mudassar Aziz, who also helmed the prequel. The comedy of errors of sorts that also features a talented cast like Jimmy Sheirgill, Piyush Mishra and others is scheduled to hit the screens on 24th August.
