The popular anchor, who is the third contestant to leave the reality show, believes that the Luck By Chance actor has the best chance of bagging the trophy
Archana Vijaya became the latest contestant to be eliminated from Colors' dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 Saturday (July 14) night.
She was paired with choreographer Sanam Johar. She impressed judges Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo D'Souza with her enthusiasm and eagerness to learn, but that wasn't enough to take her to the next round. She is the third contestant to be eliminated from the show after ghazal singer Talat Aziz and Sri Lankan cricketer Sanath Jayasuriya.
Archana won the first season of Channel V's Get Gorgeous in 2004. That set the ball rolling for her innings as a presenter on the small screen.
Her most recent stint as an anchor was for Extraa Innings during the fifth season of Indian Premier League (IPL). "I am not disappointed for the early exit. When I came back from the show, my body was swelled. I am resting now. I am not sad as everything happens for a reason," Archana said. For the time being, she has no plans. "I will rest for some time as my body won't allow me to do any work... I just want to lie on a beach. I will be off for few days," she said.
When asked who is the strongest contender, she said: "I think Isha Sharvani will win the show, she is a lovely girl...dances so well... her body is flexible..."
