Surgical strike is a befitting reply by India to Pakistan. Every Indian has stood in support of the Indian army's recent move. On Thursday an announcement of surgical strike was made by DGMO Lt Gen Ranbir Singh. “ Significant casualties have been caused to terrorists and those trying to shield them. We don’t have a plan to further conduct such strikes. India has spoken to Pakistan,” DGMO Lt Gen Ranbir Singh said.
Meanwhile our B-town actors are proud of this step taken by India. John Abraham who was out for the launch of Force 2 trailer said, “We are very proud. We had to do this earlier. I think it is high time we respond to terrorism. As a country we are tolerant. But I think it is high time we put our foot down and show what India can do.” It's not just the actor even his co-star celebrated this move.
Sonakshi Sinha also added and said, “Thank you for the surgical attacks. This is the need of the hour and we are happy to see it happening.” Filmmaker Vipul Shah said, “It’s a proud moment for everyone because our armed forces have retaliated.”

India has carried out surgical strikes across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir to prevent Pakistani terrorists who had positioned themselves at launch pads with the aim to carry out strikes in Jammu and Kashmir and other metros today. The strikes are the first major military action taken by India after terrorists from Pakistan crossed into an army camp in Uri in Kashmir earlier this month. 18 soldiers were killed in that attack. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pledged that the attack will not go unpunished.
