Injuries on the sets of a film have become a common occurrence. Despite taking all the measures, there have been news of actors wounding themselves really bad. Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan are two often injured actors. Recently, John Abraham too hurt himself bad on the sets of Force 2 and had to be rushed to the hospital. But his dedication to the craft made him disregard doctor's advice and continue shooting after being patched up by the doc. Resultant? He had to go back to the hospital!
As per a daily, John was shooting an intense action scene on the sets of Force 2 in Budapest, when he hurt himself really bad. Vipul Shah, the producer of the film said that the actor was supposed to kick open a door but while doing so he hurt his knee gravely. Nobody thought the wound was that serious until he had to rushed to the hospital. Doctors removed the clots that were formed due to the injury. He was asked to take rest for three days but paying no heed to the advise, John returned to the set. It just went worse. He was taken to hospital again where a minor surgery had to be conducted. It was then that Shah and director Abhinay Deo put their foot down. John is now on four day rest to get back to good health.
Well, sometimes dedication can cost you dearly, John!
