In 2019, we will see many star kids will debut on the silver screen and among them is Danny Denzongpa's son Rinzing Denzongpa. The actor's kid will mark his debut with Squad, which will be an action-packed thriller, comprising of some breathtaking stunts. Beyond The Clouds actress, Malvika Raj will star opposite Rinzing in this venture. Now the latest update about the film suggests that John Abraham will have a special role in Squad, which is scheduled to go on floors in July.
Producer Nilesh Sahay revealed John's involvement in the project and told Mirror, “I have told John briefly that I want to have him in a cameo. I am in the process of writing his role and then discuss it with him. It’s a special part, and people will get to see him in a way that they haven’t before." Talking about that John said, “If Nilesh asks me to do a cameo, it will be very difficult for me to say no. I’ll do it, as simple as that.”
Squad was earlier supposed to be directed Jyoti Kapur Das but now Nilesh Sahay has taken the responsibility to direct the film. John expressed his happiness about Nilesh's directorial debut and also said that he is in talks with the filmmaker for new projects. “Nilesh is one of the few people in India who understand action. It’s an ambitious film, and we have been discussing details. It’s an ambitious film, and we have been discussing details. I am looking forward to work on an action film with him soon,” said John.
Nilesh also confirmed that he wants to make Hollywood film The Expendables in Hindi, where John will step in the shoes of Sylvester Stallone. Nilesh said, “That’s a film meant to be made with John, but it’s on the backburner for now as casting an ensemble is a huge headache. I promise that the film will take off sometime next year.” Coming back to Squad, it will be shot in Russia and Mumbai and will hit the screens in 2020.
