John Abraham's Pagalpanti to lock horns with Ayushmann Khurrana's Bala on November 22

In order to give a solo release to Nikkhil Advani's Marjaavaan, John Abraham pushed the release of his comic-caper Pagalpanti. While Marjaavan will now release on November 8, Pagalpanti, on the other hand, will hit the silver screens on November 22. However, the box office clash between films is on yet. Anees Bazmee's multistarrer will now lock horns with Ayushmann Khurrana's Bala at the ticket windows on November 22. Bhushan Kumar, who is bankrolling Pagalpanti, confirmed the new release date of the film and told Mumbai Mirror, "Yes, Pagalpanti will now release on November 22." Meanwhile, John Abraham is confident that Pagalpanti will work as and when the film will arrive at the cinemas. "But Marjaavaan will benefit from a solo window and Bhushan agreed with me," he added. Milap Zaveri, the director of Marjaavaan, is also thankful to the Batla House for letting his film have a solo release. The filmmaker arranged for a special screening of Marjaavaan's trailer for John and talking about his reaction, he said, "He found it powerful and commercial, and when I casually told him I wished my film could have a solo release, he conferred with his producers, Bhushan and Kumar Mangat, and they graciously shifted Pagalpanti." As for Pagalpanti, director Anees Bazmee told IANS, "Shooting in London was not less than a roller-coaster ride. We had a few difficulties considering the weather conditions there. But I am glad to have a brilliant cast and crew and they were all very supportive and it did not affect our schedule."

Besides John, the comic-caper stars Anil Kapoor, Ileana D'Cruz, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, Arshad Warsi among others. Bala, on the other hand, features Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam, Bhumi Pednekar and others.
