Taking a dig at the above mentioned social networking platforms, Juhi shared a note on Twitter that reads: "When anything is free, your freedom is the price. "Desmond Tutu once said, 'When the missionaries came to Africa they had the Bible and we had the land. They said, 'let us pray.' We close our eyes. When we opened them, we had the Bible and they had the land," read the note shared by Juhi on Twitter.
It further said, "Likewise, when social networking came, they had the WhatsApp and Facebook and we had the freedom. They said it's free. We close our eyes. When we opened them, we had WhatsApp and Facebook and they had our freedom. When anything is free, your freedom is the price."
"Would you agree?" the actress wrote along with the note.
Juhi has always been vocal about things that matter to the society. Earlier, she had expressed her concern over the worsening air quality of the Mumbai city. "What has happened to the air in Mumbai..?? I tried to walk in my balcony... and I felt like I was inhaling dust... only dust. Maybe the lockdown wasn't so bad after all, I remember the air being so blissfully clear," she had written. Juhi Chawla had shared photographs of the city's skyline on social media and pointed out, "There is no clean air in Mumbai, just a lousy heavy dusty smog!!!"
