Tiger Zinda Hai, bhailog!
Yes, Tiger is back, and when I mean Tiger, I am not talking about Tiger Shroff.
Salman Khan's character from Ek Tha Tiger is all set to return in the sequel to the 2012 film. Curiously, it is titled Tiger Zinda Hai, since Tiger was quite alive and kicking at the end of the original film, albeit injured badly. Come on, can they even kill off Salman Khan?
As per reports, the sequel will not be directed by Kabir Khan, but by the Sultan director Ali Abbas Zafar, who himself confirmed that he is doing the sequel. As no official announcement has been made by the production house, Yash Raj Films, we could have still dismissed the film as a beautiful probability.
But can you do so when the original directed, Kabir Khan, has let out the cat out of the bag with a single tweet?
Today, Ek Tha Tiger had completed 4 years of release, and Kabir Khan thanks the fans for making the film trend on social networking sites. In the same message, he also let on the fact about waiting for the sequel. This is what he wrote, "Thank you for all the love and making #4YearsOfBlockbusterETT trend... Now wait for the sequel ?"
Salman fans must be rejoicing at the news, but there is one slight thing we are still worried about. Earlier there had been rumours that Salman Khan was not happy with the way YRF hid the real collections of Sultan, since this would mean they would have to share more profits with him. If these rumours are true, won't this affect the sequel?
Maybe we have to wait for the official announcement from YRF before we burst the crackers.
