Ever since Shahid Kapoor-starrer Kabir Singh has released, much has been spoken about the film's perception. The box office numbers of Kabir Singh portray a different picture while the mixed response about the film has a different perspective. And amidst all this, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has made some statements defending his film which seems to have created ripples amongst movie buffs and industry fraternity. Sandeep’s perspective about the love between two people hasn't gone down well with a lot of people including many actresses in South Indian industry like Samantha Akkineni, Parvathy and many others. Besides calling him unwell and terming his attitude differently, social media is abuzz with backlash on Sandeep which is now spreading like wild fire.
Speaking about the film, Kabir Singh, featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani, is the official remake of Tollywood hit film Arjun Reddy which starred Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role. The film was a blockbuster hit in Tollywood and the same has repeated in Bollywood too. Kabir Singh has now officially entered the Rs 200 crore club making it the highest ever collecting film in Shahid Kapoor's film.
Our editor Tushar Joshi gave Kabir Singh 4 stars and wrote Kabir Singh is the best work in Shahid's career in his review. "Shahid delivers one of his career's finest performances. His rage and anger isn’t just on the surface but it’s visceral and a part of the air he breathes. To show that complexity isn’t easy, so Shahid digs deep and becomes the madness that is Kabir. He is deep and intense yet light and breezy when needed. There is a natural flair and charm that he puts to use full throttle. Kiara’s last scene with him is a revelation," he wrote in the review.
