Nikita Dutta was earlier seen in the Shahid Kapoor starrer, Kabir Singh, and left an impact. The actress will soon be seen opposite the Abhishek Bachchan-led, The Big Bull. However, Dutta reveals her journey from walking the ramp for Miss India to coming to the big screen wasn't quite easy. In BollywoodLife's video series Takeaway, Nikita Dutta opened up about her struggles of perplexion. For the uninitiated, Dutta got into a heavy controversy when her show Ek Duje Ke Vaaste got axed due to her poor health. Dutta suffered dengue while shooting for the show, and had to stop doing the series at all. However, conjecture spread that Nikita is shaming it all since she got an offer from controversial reality series Bigg Boss. The show got shut abruptly and all the blame fell on Dutta. Reliving those days, Nikita says, "It was depressing". Nikita also reminisced the day when on one of her posts, a fan left a comment which read, 'It would have been better if you would have died". The actress confessed that the show, Ek Duje Ke Vaaste, despite giving her immense fame, took a toll on her. "I have worked straight for 61 days without a proper day off. The shifts were crazy," she said.
During the conversation, Nikita also opened up about her ideas of stardom. She revealed how she never got enticed by fame and only craved to become a good actor.
