2018 is turning out to be a year of recreating songs. After tracks like Ek Do Teen, Sanu Ek Pal Chain Naa Aave and others, one more iconic 90s song has been added to the list and its Vijaypath's chartbuster song Ruk Ruk Ruk. Interestingly, the song featured Kajol's husband Ajay Devgn along with Tabu in this revenge-action film. Apparently, Kajol plays the character of an aspiring singer in the film. The popular track will be recreated by Raghav Sachar, who has composed music for films like Kabul Express, Bittoo Boss and Guest Iin London.
In Helicopter Eela, Kajol plays an obsessive mother who continuously keeps a tab on her son’s activities. Asked if she finds any similarity between her and her character in the film, Kajol said: “I think most mothers are like Eela. Indian moms generally… all of us are Eela, but the degree of obsession can change from one mother to another.”
Helicopter Eela revolves around Kajol as a single mother to a son (played by Riddhi Sen) and someone who aspires to fulfill her dream of completing education and pursuing music. Written by Mitesh Shah, the movie is co-produced by Ajay Devgn and Jayantilal Gada of Pen India Ltd. Helicopter Eela was earlier slated to release on September 7 but now has been pushed to October 12.
BL Says: We hope the makers didn't spoil this popular 90s track by adding unnecessary tunes
