Kalki Koechlin has been known to give stellar performances from time to time. That Girl In Yellow Boots, Dev D, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Shanghai, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Ek Thi Daayan, Happy Ending and so on. She is back with another stellar performance in Margarita With A Straw. Her performance has already won her many awards at various film festivals across the globe.
At the recent trailer launch of the film for its worldwide release, Ajit Andhare, Viacom 18 head was all praise for Kalki. He said, "Kalki Koechlin should win the National Film Award for her performance in Margarita With A Straw." Talking about the film he also went on to add, "Margarita With A Straw is not any indie film that Viacom 18 is backing. Rather it's a full fledged Hindi film and they will even promote it that way."
The launch of the film's trailer saw Aamir Khan who came to witness the magic of Kalki's performance. Aamir said that he had seen the film on insistence of his wife Kiran Rao, and he doesn't regret the decision as he was mighty impressed not just with the performances but also with the story line.
